About me
I'm PJ Boyle, more commonly known as Pat. I've worked on and off in the construction / building industry since leaving school in 1984. I went to the Construction Industry Training Boards (CITB) collage in Norfolk for a year completing a city and guilds in general construction. Skills learned included shuttering joinery, basic joinery, installation of sewage and waste water pipes, block paving, flagging and landscaping.
I've worked as a shuttering joiner on some large projects in the North West such as Thelwall Viaduct and the Wheatsheaf shopping centre in Rochdale.
I completed my joinery NVQ level 2 in 1991, the types of joinery included the installation of timber joist and flooring, doors, doorframes, architraves, windows, stud partitions, skirting boards, boxing in pipework, kitchen fitting and roofing.
Alongside working on construction projects and providing handyman and property maintenance services I have worked in the mortgage industry.
